All planned events / fairs within the ExtreMat project are finalised.

7th IEA Workshop on SiC/SiC for Fusion and the 1st International Workshop on C&SiC Composites for Advanced Fission 18. -20. 09. 2006, Petten, Netherlands The workshops on SiC/SiC Composites are meant to increase collaboration between the international community working on the subject. Previous editions of the IEA SiC/SiC workshop for Fusion showed that this is an excellent environment to raise discussions appearing from the iterative process of development, testing and design, with the outlook to the long-term future of Fusion Power and Generation IV Fission Reactors. read more

As a highlight of the industrialization phase, ExtreMat will present its achievements with a 200 square metre stand at the Hannover Industry Fair in Hall 2, Research & Technology.
Topics will be the research results and experises of the 37 ExtreMat partners, with a special focus on use and exploitation.
